Imran Khan's government to fall in Pakistan, He demands army's support

Ground Report | New Delhi: Imran Khan government; Amid the political chaos, the most powerful Pakistani military establishment has warned Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and his government "not to drag them into their politics as the military has nothing to do with domestic politics."

The reaction comes after Information and Broadcasting Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain called for the military's help in the wake of the no-confidence notice against the Imran Khan government. He has appealed to the military establishment not to be neutral in political matters, takes sides and supports Imran Khan against joint opposition.

The PDM is led by Maulana Fazlur Rehman, a shrewd cleric-politician of the Jamiat-e-Ulama-e-Islam (JUI) and includes three-time former prime minister Nawaz Sharif's Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) as well as small Pashtuns. are also included. and Baloch Nationalist Party. The PDM had originally sought to oust Khan through street agitation and parliamentary manoeuvring but was stopped by the military, which stood firmly behind their chosen one.

The announcement of the neutrality of the army was not appreciated by Imran Khan. A day later, at a public meeting, he thundered.

“There is no such thing as neutrality. Only animals are neutral,” Khan told supporters, according to reports in the Pakistani press. Fighting with his back to the wall, Imran Khan has been lashing out at the opposition, warning them that if he is out of power, he will be too dangerous and will chase them with a heavy hand. Like every politician in the subcontinent, he now sees a conspiracy by foreign powers to destabilize Pakistan.

According to insiders, the military establishment is angered by Imran Khan's open claim that the army's support in his "ugly" fight with the united opposition took a negative turn on Thursday night.

According to media reports, after the order of Imran Khan, the police tried to forcibly arrest the opposition MPs of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan (JUIF) from the lodge of the Parliament where they are staying. To block the move, JD(U) supremo Maulana Falur Rehman had deployed "volunteers" of his personal militia, Ansar-ul-Islam, which protects party leaders during rallies, especially during the election season.

After a heated fight between police and JUIF volunteers inside and outside the Parliament Lodge in Islamabad, the police managed to "arrest" 19 MPs along with supporters.
