On Thursday too, Greta had a tweet in support of the farmers. He had said that 'they are with the protesting farmers'.

Not only Greta, famous singer Rihanna also tweeted on Thursday in support of the farmers movement.

There was a lot of controversy in India after these tweets. Many people wrote against Greta and Rihanna on social media that "foreigners are trying to divide people by commenting on India's internal affairs."

But many people praised Greta's tweet, who said that Greta has helped to take the issue of farmers internationally, which the Modi government does not want to talk about.

However Delhi Police has lodged an FIR against climate change activist Greta Thunberg for her recent alleged inflammatory tweet on the farmer movement in India in protest against the new agricultural laws. 

Greta Thunberg posted in her Twitter account showing solidarity with the farmer movement soon after pop singer Rihanna drew attention to the farmers' protests in India.

An FIR has been registered under Section 153A and 120B of the IPC on Thanberg Greta, who hails from Sweden. The cyber cell of Delhi Police has taken cognizance of several tweets against Greta, which are being labeled as inflammatory.

Demonstrating solidarity with farmers, many foreign celebrities from around the world have commented on this, including the nieces of pop singers Rihanna, Greta Thunberg and Kamala Harris.

According to the information, in the first tweet on Tuesday night, Greta Thunberg wrote "We stand in solidarity with #FarmersProtest in India". Following her tweet, Rihanna says the issue should be discussed.

The Ministry of External Affairs also issued a statement saying that "some groups, which have their own interests, are trying to derail them by trying to implement their agenda on these protests, which is unfortunate".
