Covid cases may come in third wave

Ground Report | New Delhi: There has been a lot of talk recently about the covid-19 virus spreading through the air. Meanwhile, the central government issued a recommendation to keep ventilation in rooms to reduce the risk of transmission from one person to another.

According to Vijay Raghavan, Chief Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, "Properly ventilated areas play an important role in reducing the burden of Covid-19 virus in infected air."

The advisor advises that measures be taken to improve ventilation in offices, homes and other buildings. Simple techniques such as fans, open vents, and doors can let in outside air and improve indoor air quality.

Air quality in offices, auditoriums, shopping malls etc. can be improved by using gable fan system and roof ventilator.

In addition, he recommends wearing a mask, proper distance, and hygiene to prevent the spread of the cod virus.

Improving central air filtration or enhanced filtration efficiency is especially helpful in buildings with central air-management systems where outdoor ventilation options are limited.

Coronavirus can be transmitted rapidly from a cod-positive person to a healthy person through redness and inhalation. Breathing, talking, singing, laughing, coughing or sneezing can spread the virus.

Therefore, if you come from outside, touch the door, gate, etc., before taking it to your face, nose and eyes, you should wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.

Raghavan recommends wearing a double mask or N95 mask to reduce the risk of covid-19 infection.

When a person is infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, that person acts as a carrier and the transmission of the virus increases. In the absence of a carrier, the virus cannot survive. And it can stop the spread of the disease.
