April 14: The first step in the victory of the Taliban
US President Joe Biden announced that the repatriation of American forces from Afghanistan will begin on May 1 and will be completed by August 31.
May 4: Attacks Begin
The Taliban launched a military operation in southern Helmand province against the government forces of Afghanistan. At the same time, this campaign started simultaneously in six provinces.

June 11: Nerkh
The Taliban captured the Nerkh district near Kabul. At the same time, heavy fighting was going on in many places across the country.
June 22: First Alert
The UN special envoy in Afghanistan said the Taliban had captured 50 of the 370 districts.
2 July: Vacant Bagram
American forces quietly evacuated Bagram airport. American troops left overnight, effectively marking America's withdrawal from the war in Afghanistan.
July 5: Victory everywhere
The Taliban said they could send a written peace proposal to the Afghan government before the beginning of August.
August 6: Zaranj
The Taliban captured Zaranj, the capital of Nimruz province on the border with Iran in the south, which was the first provincial capital it captured in years. After this, the process of occupation of cities started.
August 13: Kandahar
The Taliban captured Kandahar, the second-largest city in Afghanistan. Simultaneously, Herat in the west also passed away from the hands of the Afghan army.

August 14: Jalalabad
The Taliban flag was hoisted over Mazar-e-Sharif, the largest city in the north. America said that it is sending more troops to evacuate its employees. Taliban fighters were moving towards Kabul and there was no opposition in Jalalabad.
15 August: Kabul
The Taliban entered Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. President Ashraf Ghani left the country. Employees from America and other Western countries also left Kabul. Taliban commanders entered Rashtrapati Bhavan.
