Ground Report | New Delhi: apps will take to come back; If WhatsApp, Facebook, or Instagram does not work for you, you are not alone. The company's servers are crashing globally, as can be seen through the Down Detector tool.

Good News they are coming back

Both WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, or Facebook Messenger show error notices. The drop affects users in Europe, as well as America and Asia. From time to time, servers crash, and users cannot access updated mobile applications or web pages, which do not load the latest messages or allow new messages to be sent.

It is unknown how long this crash will last, although when accessing from the Facebook website the default error message appears where it is reported that they are "working on it and we will fix it as soon as possible".

In the case of Instagram, a "5xx Server Error" message appears from the web. Facebook's own status website is temporarily inaccessible. Both WhatsApp and Instagram belong to the Facebook company and share the infrastructure of their servers, hence it is common that when one fails, so do the others.

From the WhatsApp account of Twitter, they have published the following message, where they report that they are working on it: A Facebook spokesperson also explained that "we are aware that some people have problems accessing our applications and products. We are working to get everything back to normal as soon as possible and we apologize for any inconvenience."

According to DownDetector, social media giants Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp are in a global outage. Social media users trying to access Facebook received a message that read: "Sorry, something went wrong. We're working on this and will fix it as soon as possible." (apps will take to come back)
