Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Ahmedabad, Pune and Hyderabad today to review the progress of preparation of Corona vaccine on Saturday.

During this time, Prime Minister Modi will see the process of vaccination at pharmaceutical company Zydus Biotech Park in Ahmedabad, Bharat Biotech in Hyderabad and Serum Institute of India in Pune.

The Prime Minister's Office has said, "At a time when efforts to tackle the covid-19 infection in the country have reached a decisive stage, this visit of the Prime Minister and his discussion with scientists on this occasion will be very important. The visit will help the Prime Minister to understand the preparations to bring the Corona vaccine to the countrymen early and the roadmap designed to meet the challenge of infection. ”

According to All India Radio, the Prime Minister will first visit Cadila Pharmaceuticals' covid vaccine-making plant at Zydus Biotech Park near Ahmedabad and review the vaccine making process there.

The Zydus company is preparing the Kovid- 19 vaccine ZyCoV-D .

After this, the Prime Minister will go to Pune and see the process of making Corona Vaccine, Covicield in Serum Institute there .

After successful trial of the vaccine, they will discuss with the concerned authorities about its distribution and supply arrangements.

According to the program, in the end the Prime Minister will reach Hyderabad, where he will review the preparations for the covid-19 vaccine at Bharat Biotech International Limited.

This drug company is making Kovid's vaccine, covaccin , in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research-ICMR .

Dr. Krishna Ella, President of Bharat Biotech International, is also hoping to become an indigenous vaccine.

India is developing an indigenous corona vaccine called Biotech International Covicine, which has shown encouraging results in Phase III trials (trials).
