Mohan Bhagwat's statement comes at a time when several BJP-ruled states have brought laws against inter-religious marriages. Hinduist organizations call such marriages 'love-jihad'. It is believed that the state governments have brought this law under pressure from the RSS.

Bhagwat spoke at length about the values ​​and security of Indian families, he also pointed out how only men appear in RSS programs.

He said, “The aim of the RSS is to create a Hindu society, but when we organize RSS programs, we see only men. If we want to make a perfect society, 50% of it should be women.

Bhagwat said that Indians always shared their wealth with others, there was a lot of wealth in India till the arrival of the Mughals.

Praising the Indian family system, Bhagwat said that western countries used to study our family system, but some forces worked to destroy these values.

He said, "Western countries started sending charas to China to enslave people. The young man got addicted to charas and thus the West ruled China. The same thing is happening in our country. If you look at drug cases and know where they are coming from, you will know why and where it is coming from and who is benefiting from it.
