Following heavy rains and mudslides in different regions of the state, numerous roads in Himachal Pradesh remained inaccessible on Tuesday. Unrelenting downpours led to a grim loss of 51 lives in the region.
The meteorological department anticipates exceptionally heavy rain in nine of the state’s 12 districts, with the exception of Kullu, Kinnaur and Lahaul and Spiti. A yellow warning has been issued for Tuesday in these affected districts.
