Auli

Auli is called Mini Switzerland of India. This mini Switzerland of India is so beautiful that even foreigners do not get tired of looking at the views here. 

This mini Switzerland is located in Chamoli, Uttarakhand. Seeing the valleys and mountains here, you will feel that you are really visiting Switzerland.

Devprayag is at an altitude of 830 meters above sea level. The distance from Rishikesh to Devprayag is only around 70 km. This beautiful place is situated at the confluence of the Alaknanda-Bhagirathi River.

Devbhoomi is said to be one of the Panch Prayagas of Uttarakhand. It is believed that when King Bhagiratha persuaded Ganga to come down to earth, along with him 33 crore Gods and Goddesses also descended from Ganga to Devprayag from heaven. 

This is the place where the confluence of the Bhagirathi and the Alaknanda River takes place. 

Devprayag attracts a large number of devotees. It is a very picturesque place, where the beauty and serene atmosphere is felt in the heart of the devotees and tourists.

Tapovan

Tapovan is 6 km from Gangotri glacier. The amazing views of this place win over the tourists. The Himalayan peaks are seen far and wide from Tapovan.

Tapovan is also called Nandanvan Camping is done here for mountaineering. Near Gomukh trekking is Tapovan where millions of foreign tourists flock for trekking every year. 

Nandanvan offers a spectacular view of the peaks such as Shivalinga, Bhagirathi, Kedar Dome, Thalaya Sagar and Sudarshan. 

Tourists here can trekking and capping at Satopant, Kharkund, Kalindi Kal, Meru and Kedardom. Apart from trekking, tourists also climb mountains and rock climbing. The lush green pine and deodar trees attract tourists.

Valley of Flowers

Have you heard about the Valley of Flowers located in Uttarakhand. Every year lakhs of tourists come here and enjoy its beauty. It is a national park located in the Chamoli district of the Garhwal region.

Mukteshwar

Dham, situated about 46 km from Mukteshwar Nainital, is visited by tourists every year in the winter. On December 16, the first snowfall of this year was seen, after which the happiness of people visiting there was doubled.
