Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that the Delhi government has decided to give covid vaccine free to all people above 18 years of age in the state.

In a virtual press conference on Monday, he said that he will try to get the vaccine given to people at the earliest and larger scale. For this, the state government is making a plan.

He also informed that for this, the state government has approved a plan to purchase one crore 34 lakh vaccines.

Kejriwal hoped that the condition of a patient will not be serious due to corona when everyone gets the vaccine.

Registrations for the third phase of covid-19 vaccination are starting from April 28. In this phase, all people aged 18 years and above will be able to get vaccinated from May 1.

Kejriwal raised the issue of vaccine prices and said that the cost of the vaccine should be same for all and everywhere.

He said that a manufacturer of the vaccine is giving Corona vaccine to the Central Government for Rs. 150. At the same time, a vaccine manufacturer has said that they will give vaccine to the states for Rs. 400, while another manufacturer has talked about giving vaccine to the states for Rs. 600.

He appealed to the central government to consider reducing the vaccine prices for the states.
