Former security chief of Osama bin Laden returns to Afghanistan

Ground Report | New Delhi: Former security chief of Osama; Amin-ul-Haq, the former security chief of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, has returned home, with the Taliban becoming dominant in Afghanistan and the withdrawal of US forces.

A video of Haq's return has surfaced which is believed to be of Monday. In this, it is seen that a large number of people are standing around Haq's car in Nangarhar province. The Taliban took control of Jalalabad, the capital of Nangarhar province, before capturing the capital Kabul on August 15 this month.

Amin-ul-Haq and Osama bin Laden are said to have fled together when the US bombed the Tora-Bora caves where they were hiding. After the US invasion of Afghanistan in 2011, bin Laden and other al-Qaeda leaders hid in the Tora-Bora mountains, bordering Pakistan.

Amin-ul-Haq was responsible for the security arrangements of the al-Qaeda leader while bin Laden was hiding there. Osama bin Laden was later killed by a special unit of the US Army in Abbottabad, Pakistan in 2011. The main reason for America's attack on Afghanistan 20 years ago was the presence of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.

Al Haq began his career 

According to media reports, Amin-ul-Haq was also arrested in Pakistan in 2008 but was released in 2011. Haq's name is still included in the US government's list of Special International Terrorists.

Al Haq began his career as a militant as a member of the Hizb-e-Islami Khalis (HIK), a faction of the Hizb-e-Islami group founded by cleric Mohammad Younis Khalis, who founded Osama bin Laden. played an important role in welcoming Afghanistan after the ouster of Al Qaeda from Sudan in 1996.

As leader of the Black Guard, al-Haq accompanied Osama bin Laden during the 2001 fighting in Tora Bora, Nangarhar Province. Al-Haq helped the al-Qaeda emir and other senior al-Qaeda leaders escape an attack by US and Afghan militias on the cave complex and flee to Pakistan.
