The Uttar Pradesh Sunni Waqf Board has made public the draft of the mosque to be built in Ayodhya. Architect SM Akhtar made public the design of the mosque and hospital at a press conference on Saturday.

This mosque will be oval and there will be no domes or towers in the design of this two-floor mosque. It will be able to read 2000 Namazi Namaz simultaneously. A separate place will also be made for women Namazis here.

A hospital will also be constructed in the premises of the mosque itself. A community kitchen and Indo-Islamic Culture Research Center will also be built near the mosque.

The trust's secretary Athar Hussain said that the name of the mosque has not been decided yet. It will not be named after any emperor or king. While presenting the design, the designs of many famous mosques around the world were shown. According to the design, the dome of the proposed mosque will be of glass, which the Trust has said that this design has been designed keeping in mind the modern architecture of mosques around the world.

According to Akhtar, 2000 people will be able to perform namaz at a time in this mosque. Also, this mosque will be bigger and completely different from the old Babri Masjid. In addition to the mosque and hospital, it will also have a public restaurant and library, while the mosque will be fully equipped with solar power.

The Waqf Board, said that Bhoomi Pujan is not done in Islam, so no such program will be organized for the mosque. However, the foundation of the mosque will be laid on 26 January 2021 or 15 August 2021.

After finalizing the design, the trust will now be able to pass its map. Then construction work will be started. However, the date of laying the foundation of the mosque has not been decided yet.

After the Supreme Court's decision in the Ramjanmabhoomi Babri Masjid case, the Uttar Pradesh Sunni Waqf Board formed a trust named Indo-Islamic Culture Foundation, whose responsibility is to build the mosque near Ayodhya.
