The Taliban, which has sent a moderate message on the issue, has taken an important step in recent weeks, and a student official attended a program hosted by Beheshta Arghand, a female host, and answered some tough questions. The interview, which was aired on Tolo News Channel in 2004, made headlines in different parts of the world in a short time and made Arghand a well-known journalist.

After the interview, Arghand also interviewed Malala Yousafzai, who survived a Taliban assassination attempt, and according to available information, this was her first interview on an Afghan channel.

However, despite all the Taliban's moderate messages, Arghand did not feel safe and has left the country, according to CNN International. "I left the country because, like millions of people, I am afraid of the Taliban," Arghand told CNN. "I did it for Afghan women," she said of the interview.

Two days after Malala Yousafzai's interview, Arghand boarded a Qatar Air Force evacuation flight on Tuesday, along with some family members. "If the Taliban do what they say and the situation improves, I will return to my country and work for my country and my people," Arghand said.

Saad Mohseni, owner of Tolo News, summed up the latest situation in Afghanistan with the words: "Almost all our eminent reporters and journalists are gone."
