Farmers announced to end the week

The farmer leaders had been demanding action against Ayush Sinha, the former SDM of Karnal, who had ordered to deal ruthlessly with the farmers for the past few days.

The Haryana government had transferred Ayush Sinha in this case. But the farmers were constantly demanding a probe into the matter.

There was a tussle between the administration and the farmers regarding these demands. And to find a solution to this problem, meetings were being held between the two sides.

It has been told in this press conference that the investigation of the incident at Bastar toll plaza on August 28 will be done by retired judges and the investigation will be completed within a month. Sinha will be on leave during this time.

Along with this, the family member of the deceased Sushil Kajal will be given a job at DC rate within a month.

What is the whole matter?

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar was to attend a meeting of BJP leaders on August 28. And the farmer leaders were trying to gherao CM Khattar.

In this effort, farmer leaders blocked the Karnal Highway in large numbers. After this the police lathi-charged them.

A farmer named Sushil Kajal died in this incident. However, the administration says that Kajal did not die in administrative action.

Along with this incident, a video of Karnal SDM Ayush Sinha went viral in which he was seen ordering the farmers to be treated ruthlessly.

Sinha, however, clarified that stone-pelting had begun and that he had appropriately ordered the use of force.

But in this video, Sinha was seen saying that “Utha-Utha ke kill everyone behind. We should not allow this block to be broken under any circumstances. We have enough force. We haven't slept for two days. But you have to come here after getting some sleep. Not a single person should come out to me. If he comes, his head should be torn, it is clear to you.

After seeing this clip that went viral on social media, many former and present officers had demanded action against the officer concerned.

Similarly, local DM Nishant Yadav also defended Sinha.

He had said, “Some words should not have been used. As the head of Karnal administration, I express my regret. But the SDM is a good officer. He used some words on that occasion in a heated situation which he should not have done. But his intention was not wrong."
