The road between Ghaziabad to Delhi on Delhi-Meerut Expressway was opened for vehicles. Police say that this road was closed by Delhi Police after the incident of violence on 26 January.

A senior police officer says that after seeing the status of law and order on the Ghazipur border, the road from Delhi to Ghaziabad on NH-24 has been opened after discussion with the police of Ghaziabad district in view of the convenience of the public.

However, the road from Delhi to Ghaziabad is still closed as protesters have cordoned off the road.

The Delhi Traffic Police had tweeted on Monday that the road from Ghaziabad to Delhi on the Ghazipur border is closed. Apart from this, the Singhu Border Dhansa Border, Mangeshpur Border, Harevali Border and Tikri Border are also closed.

29-year-old Sachin Rawat works in Noida, he says that now he will take less time to reach the office.

He says, "When this road was closed, I had to go to Noida via Indirapuram. Now there will not be much difference on the time of my journey, but NH-24 is quite convenient. "

On March 2, the road was opened to vehicles but it was closed again.

Ghazipur is a landmark for border farmers but it has been completely closed for traffic for some time. At the same time, Tikri and Singhu border is completely closed for movement of vehicles.
