Ground Report | New Delhi: restoration of Article 370; Member of Parliament and President of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, Dr. Farooq Abdullah on Tuesday said that every party in Jammu and Kashmir is united on the restoration of Article 370 and 35-A is concerned and there are no differences.

Dr Farooq said that every party has its own system, however, as far as Jammu And there is Kashmir, there is a question of Article 370 and 35-A, they are all united. Referring to the BJP, he said that they want to create division among Muslims so that they can rule. "They have always used divide and rule policy and they want to follow that, but we have to be united because unity is the only way by which we can defeat these people," he said.

He also said that every party has its own system, and they are all working under that system, but when it comes to J&K, they are all united and there is no difference. They said that they are waiting for the court's hearing regarding the restoration of Articles 370 and 35-A. "We have neither raised guns nor pelted stones. We want to resolve the issue in a Gandhian way and what Delhi will do is their job," he said.

In response to a question, he said that Mehbooba Mufti has her own way of doing this and it is her job to do and what not to do. Regarding the sacking of ICDS assistants, he said that the LG administration has done wrong by sacking them and snatching their livelihood from them. "How will anyone survive if you take away their livelihood from them.

We had given jobs to people so that they could live and lead a normal life, but the LG administration did it wrong by sacking them. The government had promised that they would give 50,000 jobs, where are they? Instead of giving jobs to people, they are sacking them, the government should desist from it."

He also said that everyone needs to come together to find solutions to the growing problems, especially the problems being faced by the youth, otherwise there will be destruction. “We need to create avenues for the youth, if we fail to do so then the problems will increase and the drug menace here will create trouble for the youth and the generations to come,” he said.
