Even in Covid period, ‘Peepal Baba’ planted more than 1 lakh trees

•  Peepal Baba: From last week of planting year 2020, his team came Gurugram, planting 255 tree saplings in a school (schools name , it is GBS , B2, School , near IFFCO Chawk , Gurugram in the city, which is under our care-taking . They not only plant the trees but also look after this. The team of Peepal Baba made  their workplace “ National Capital Region” during the Corona period.  This year, Peepal Baba's team planted 8340 trees in Delhi, 33,400 in Noida, 28,600 in Greater Noida, 4,200 trees in Ghaziabad while 30,280 trees in Lucknow, 3820 trees in Uttarakhand, Haryana (on Sohna-Bahadurgarh Road) connected with NCR. planted 3140 trees.

•  Corona created uproar in the whole world, the industrialists incurred huge losses, and it affected badly the daily wage earners. People lost their jobs and their loved ones in the Corona year. People are calling 2020 a doom year and full of apathy.  According to data released by America's first research university, John Hapkins University, 745.5 million people worldwide were infected with Corvid 19 after the Corona outbreak till  December 17, 16 lakhs people lost their lives. This was the time when the whole world was running their routine and some were sitting in the house for video time and zoom time, but the team of Peepal Baba kept planting trees. According to YP Singh, President of the Indian Nurserymen's Association of India, the nursery of trees worth more than Rs 100 crores were ruined in the country, the loss of plants above Rs 8 crore only in Delhi. But even in this period, not a single plant of Peepal Baba's nursery was wasted because the campaign to plant tree of Peepal Baba's team continued non-stop.

Peepal Baba’s suggestion to improve economy and environment

•  Due to Corona, the industries of the country were shut down, Migrant laborers started coming from the cities towards the villages.  On coming back to the village, many people associated themselves with agricultural work. Thus per capita dependence on agriculture increased considerably.  At this time, on the occasion of World Environment Day on June 5, Peepal Baba made a creative request to the people of the whole country, saying that in the Corona period, people should plant a fix deposit. It was said that if more people will get involved in agricultural work, per capita income will come down and overall production will also reduce the value of agricultural products. In such a situation, if the farmers do plantation work on the edge of their fields or in the barren lands, then the damage done during the Corona  period can be repaired along with the knowledge.  This concept related to plantation given by Peepal Baba was called "fix deposit of Corona period in the name of the nation".  At this time the concept given by Peepal Baba was very much appreciated and many people around NCR joined the Peepal Baba tree plantation drive and devoted their time to plant more and more trees.

Eminent worker Prem Parivartan, popularly known as Peepal Baba, started working in this field by planting the first tree of his life in 1977, 43 years ago. He made planting trees a social prestige issue by giving me the Trees Trust.  So far, 14,500 volunteers have joined this campaign.  Of the nearly 2.25 crore trees planted by his trust so far, Team Peepal Baba has planted 1 crore 27 lakhPeepal which is the largest source of oxygen.
