JEE Main is a national-level common entrance exam conducted for admission to undergraduate courses in various government and private engineering institutes in India. The IIT JEE Mains comprises two papers, namely Paper 1 and Paper 2. The first paper is for the admission of B.E. and B.Tech programmes in National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Centrally Funded Technical Institutions(CFTIs) and all the other institutes of the participating States. The second paper (Paper 2) is for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in various Indian institutes.
