The Higher Education Department of Madhya Pradesh will begin the college admission process for the academic session 2025–26 from May 15. This year’s registration will not be handled through MP Online. Instead, the department has introduced a new online portal and mobile app to simplify the process for students.
The Class 12 board results are expected to be declared by the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education on May 10, after which the admission process will begin.
Here’s how to do registration
-
Step 1: Visit the New Portal
Go to the newly launched admission portal to begin the registration process. This portal will be the central platform for students to complete their admissions. -
Step 2: Pay the Registration Fee
The registration fee has been reduced to Rs 39, down from the previous Rs 70 required on MP Online. Make sure to complete the payment through the portal. -
Step 3: Fill Out the Admission Form
Complete the online admission form with the necessary details. The form will collect your academic details, contact information, and other required inputs. -
Step 4: Upload Documents
Upload the necessary documents as specified by the portal. These may include your Class 12 results, identity proof, and caste certificates (if applicable). -
Step 5: Track Your Application
Once you’ve completed the registration and submission, you can track your application status through the mobile app or the portal itself. -
Step 6: Get Help if Needed
If you face any issues, you can call the toll-free helpline at 18008908399 or the support number 8000063632 for assistance.
Support and assistance
To ensure a smooth and transparent process, the Higher Education Department has appointed nodal officers in each district to assist students. These officers will help resolve any admission-related issues and guide students through the process. The officers will also report daily progress to the Additional Director, who will monitor the overall progress of the admission procedure.
The department is also running the College Chalo Abhiyan to encourage more students to pursue higher education.
With these new digital tools and support systems in place, the department aims to make the college admission process more accessible, streamlined, and efficient for all students.
