Rahul Dravid, the head coach of the Indian Cricket team, was seen sitting in the dugout during Ind vs Pak match. But, wait. Didn’t Rahul Dravid test positive for COVID-19 after Ind vs WI series? The answer is yes. The BCCI tweet says so. The previous news also mentioned that he will miss Asia Cup.

Another Indian Veteran VVS Laxman was roped in to fill that gap during the Asia Cup 2022. Yet, another BCCI tweet says so.

Then, how is he in the Indian Dugout? 

According to the reports, Rahul Dravid tested negative in the COVID-19 test before the match. Earlier also, he had mild COVID symptoms and was on a constant check by the medical staff. Once, he tested negative he joined the Indian team.

VVS Laxman who was overseeing the preparation for India's match in Dravid absence, would leave for Bengaluru. VVS Laxman is the director, National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. Now, I will resume his preparation with India A squad which is training for their upcoming series against New Zealand A.

Maybe fate is on our side during this Asia Cup campaign.
