Senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Digvijay Singh on Wednesday questioned Bhagwat's statement in the Sehore district of the state.

He said- "If the DNA of Hindu and Muslim is one, then what is the need for a religious conversion law, what is the need for a law of love jihad? Then the DNA of Mohan Bhagwat and Owaisi is the same."

On the statement of Digvijay Singh, now Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has said that Digvijay Singh compares the people who break the country.

Narottam Mishra said, "Digvijay Singh will be compared to those who break the country. Patriotism, patriotism is in his DNA, he will always talk like Mohan Bhagwat. Those who have thoughts like Owaisi will talk like this. They are always compared in such a way that in the society. Create confusion and create confusion.

RSS chief Bhagwat said at a function in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad last week that - "We live in a democratic country. Only Indians can dominate here, not Hindus or Muslims."

He had said - "The DNA of all Indians is the same, regardless of religion."

Digvijay to be narrow minded says BJP

Terming the thinking of Rajya Sabha MP Digvijay Singh as "negative and narrow", BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya on Wednesday said Congress leaders always take the path of appeasement politics and they will never understand the broader Hindu philosophy.
