A video has gone viral on social media for a peculiar reason. It shows a devotee trapped under an elephant statue in a temple. The man was performing a ritual when this happened. Shared by Twitter user Nitin, the video has now gathered 161K views. The man can be seen struggling too hard to get out of the statue and stand up properly.
The video of the man trying his best to get out has gone viral on social media. Seconds after the filming, we can see the temple priest (pandit) helping the man out of the structure. He also gets suggestions from other temple visitors.
The video provoked a series of reactions. Some users were confused as to how the man landed in this situation; others worried if he could get out of there safely.
One of the users wrote, “Bappa, bless this baby”. Another user wrote, “This is so, so cute. Can’t stop watching this video”.
Another wrote, “Uff, it’s too adorable”. “Watching this on loop. Dogs are gems,” quipped another user in the comment section. Several other users commented with hearts, smiling faces, fire, love-struck and many other happy emojis.
In early 2019, a woman was trapped while performing the ritual. In the then-viral video, we could see the woman crawling under the structure as fellow devotees at the temple tried to pull her out of it.
According to the old video, she managed to escape unharmed after a brief battle, much to the relief of her fellow devotees who applauded and cheered for her efforts.
