Delivery person rides horse in snow-covered Kashmir to drop off order

A delivery man in Kashmir is said to have arrived on horseback to deliver the packages he was carrying in the backpack. Video of the unusual show went viral on Twitter as the horse walks on snow-covered roads. It looks like a strange mix of Medieval times and modern times.

In the video, the man riding the horse is seen walking into an alley with a backpack, while his face is covered with a mask. He then stops in front of a residential door where another man waits to pick up his package from the horse delivery man. He then places the package on a mound of snow, presumably to ensure contactless delivery, before resuming his royal run.

While the video has gone viral and sparked all kinds of funny reactions, it has also raised questions about how the administration in Kashmir has failed to clear the roads. Last week, the Kashmir Valley received heavy snowfall, disruption, road and air traffic and power connection was also cut in many areas.

People complained that vital road links, including the route to the airport, remained cut because snow was not cleared from the main roads. Some even claimed they had to walk to the airport to catch the flight.

In a matter of hours, the video was widely shared on social media platforms with many praising the delivery person. Many tagged Amazon CEO Jezz Bezos and wondered if the company was inspired by popular Turkish series Ertuğrul.
