Deadpool 3 announced; Hugh Jackman to play Wolverine

No, no. I am not kidding. You read it absolutely right. Hugh Jackman will play his iconic role of Wolverine again. Ryan Reynolds, who plays Deadpool, announced the return of the star actor through this YouTube channel.

The film will release on Sept. 6, 2024.

In the announced, Ryan Reynolds, through this quirky humorous way said,

“Hey everyone, we’re extremely sad to have missed D23, but we’ve been working very hard on the next ‘Deadpool’ film for a good long while now,” Reynolds says in the video. “I’ve had to really search my soul on this one. His first appearance in the MCU obviously needs to feel special. We need to stay true to the character, find new depth, motivation, meaning.

Every ‘Deadpool’ needs to stand out and stand apart. It’s been an incredible challenge that has forced me to reach down deep inside. And I…I have nothing. Yeah, just completely empty up here. And terrifying. But we did have one idea.”

That’s when Hugh Jackman walks past him, and Ryan says,” “Hey, Hugh, you want to play Wolverine one more time?”

“Yeah, sure, Ryan,” Jackman replies.

Jackman retired from the role after his movie titled Logan. The movie was loved about fans, and the critics. Some even suggest, that is the best movie in the X-Man franchise.

Isn’t Wolverine dead, though?

Ryan Reynolds uploaded another video explaining how Wolverine is in Deadpool 3, or MCU timeline.
