Cynthia Perkins pleads guilty to s*x crimes; will testify against husband

Ground Report | New Delhi: Cynthia Perkins s*x crimes; A teacher in the United States has admitted to lacing cupcakes with her husband's sperm before giving them to her students.

A teacher from Louisiana, USA identified as Cynthia Perkins, 36, pleaded guilty to charges of second-degree rape, production of child po*nog*@phy and conspiracy to mix harmful substances, authorities said Monday. Cynthia allegedly used her semen to "season" baked goods made for children at Westside Junior High School, the charges allege.

The 36-year-old faces 41 years in prison after testifying against her ex-husband, Dennis. Cynthia allegedly used her semen to "season" baked goods made for children at Westside Junior High School, the charges allege. The couple, from Denham Spring, were arrested in October 2019 and both charged with 60 counts of producing pgraphy involving a child under 13.

They also faced two counts of first-degree rape while Dennis was also charged with two counts of video voyeurism, two counts of obscenity and obstruction of justice.

Dennis was said to be working as a sheriff's deputy for Livingston Parish at the time.

Meanwhile, Cynthia quit her teaching job after the arrest, filed for divorce and claimed Dennis manipulated her into committing the crimes, according to WBRZ.

Cynthia initially claimed she was innocent of the 72 charges against her for multiple s*x crimes. But this week she pleaded guilty to second-degree rape, producing child p0*nogr@phy and mixing harmful substances.

Attorney General Jeff Landry said: "She not only waived any right to appeal and attempt to avoid a conviction, but she also spared the victims from reliving her horrific crimes during this particular trial.

“We look forward to holding Dennis Perkins accountable for his crimes in the very near future,” he added. Cynthia was due to face a jury at her trial on Monday before accepting the plea deal.

Assistant AG Milligan told Baton Rouge NBC's WVLA affiliate WVLA that the settlement "helps the family of the juvenile victim get justice without going through the agony of a two-week trial."

Milligan also explained why the state chose to uphold those charges while dropping 69 other charges against Cynthia.

"Three that we thought were representative of what she did and by accepting the facts as we put them down, she prepared to testify against Dennis Perkins," he told the station.

The couple were originally arrested in October 2019. Dennis currently faces 150 criminal charges, the majority of which are s*x crimes and include charges of rape, voyeurism, pedophilia and production of child pgraphy.

Cynthia's attorneys still claim that Dennis is the mastermind behind their alleged criminal activity and accuse him of manipulating their client.
