Jammu and Kashmir Police chief Dilbagh Singh said that Pakistan is pushing terrorists infected with COVID-19 into Kashmir to spread the disease among the people of the valley and this is something which needs to be taken special precautions for.
The Police Chief told this to the reporters in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district after reviewing security and measures taken in view of COVID-19 outbreak.
Referring to the recent terror attacks, Mr Singh said, when the entire world was making efforts to fight the Corona virus pandemic, Pakistan and its sponsored terrorists were making all out attempts to disrupt the measures being taken to safeguard the lives of the people in Jammu and Kashmir.
Participating in a meeting to review the ground conditions regarding the coronavirus, Jammu Kashmir Police DGP Dilbagh Singh, while referring to the recent terror attacks in the Kashmir Valley, said that at the present time the whole world is fighting the corona epidemic However, at the same time Pakistan is making every possible effort to disrupt all those measures which the state government and police have taken to protect the common people. The DGP also claimed that the grid of security and law system will be strengthened to maintain peace in Kashmir valley even during the ongoing health crisis.
He further added, that without worrying its people affected by the Corona virus, Pakistan is seeking to infiltrate the terrorists on the LoC and its launching pads along the international border in Jammu and Kashmir to disrupt peace in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that recent reports have revealed that many terrorists sitting in the launching pad and training campuses in Pakistan are also affected by the corona virus.
