In India, more than two lakh new cases of covid-19 infection are coming every day for the last four days. The condition of the capital Delhi is becoming increasingly serious.

In Delhi, the positivity rate, or the rate of infection, has reached 30 percent. This means that every third person who conducts the investigation is getting infected.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has appealed to the central government for help and believed that the situation in Delhi is bad. On Sunday, more than 25 thousand cases were reported in the capital Delhi and 161 people were confirmed dead.

The situation is worrying because the night curfew is in force in Delhi and the lockdown was applicable on weekends, despite this the cases are continuously increasing.

It has been said in the report that it was believed that the people who have taken the vaccine will be safe, but so far only 1.61 crore people in the country have received both vaccine doses.

The COVID situation has become very serious in Delhi. There is a huge shortage of beds and oxygen. I request that at least 7,000 out of 10,000 beds in central government hospitals in Delhi be reserved for COVID patients and oxygen be immediately provided in Delhi," he wrote in the letter to PM Modi.

Kejriwal said that he is seeking help from the central government, he is getting a lot of help, he said that he has spoken to Union Minister Harsh Vardhan and Home Minister Amit Shah.

He said that he has asked the Center to reserve 7000 beds for Corona. He said that the state government will increase 6000 beds in the next 2-3 days.

In his letter, Arvind Kejriwal has written, “Corona situation in Delhi has become very serious. There is a severe shortage of corona beds and oxygen, almost all ICU beds are full. We are all making efforts at our level. Need your help.”

He said, “The positivity rate has been 30 percent in the last 24 hours. It was 24 percent in its last 24 hours. Patients are growing very fast.’
