Country is unhappy with insult of tricolor on Red Fort: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while referring to the violence during the tractor parade on 26 January in Mann Ki Baat, said "The country was saddened to see the insult of the tricolor on 26 January in Delhi. We have to fill the time with hope. ''

"We have to show the restraint given last year." And the country has to be taken forward. Our vaccination is being appreciated as much as we were appreciated in the fight against Corona. So far, 30 lakh people have been vaccinated. Which has been done in less time than America and Australia.

He also expressed grief over the insult of the tricolor in Delhi on 26 January. 

When I do 'Mann Ki Baat' it seems, as if I am present among you, as a member of your family. Our small things, which teach each other, something, sweet and sour experiences of life, which should become the inspiration to live a lot - that's all 'Mann Ki Baat' PM Modi said.

On this incident, now the Indian Farmers Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait has said that "whatever happened on 26 January was the result of a conspiracy". Tikait said that there should be a comprehensive investigation. 

The farmer leader told news agency PTI that "The tricolor is at the top. We will never let the tricolor be insulted. Always keep it high. It will not be tolerated."

Prime Minister Modi said in an all-party meeting on Saturday that his government is only 'one phone call away' from the farmers. To this Rakesh Tikait said that "The government should release our people and set the stage for dialogue. We hope that some middle path will be found". 

He said that we respect what Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, his dignity will be protected. Tikait further said, "We do not want the government or parliament to bow before us, but it also protects the self-respect of farmers."
