Taking the COVID19 situation into consideration, Bhavyadev Trust today has donated 100 ration bags to 100 families. The bags were donated in Basant avenue panchayat, Himmat Singh nagar, Dashmesh nagar and Haibowal area of Ludhiana Punjab. 5 kgs of atta, 2 kg Daal, 2 kg rice, 1 kg salt, 1 packet red mirchi, 1 packet haldi, 2 kg sugar, 250 gms, tea, mustard oil and set of 4 soaps were there in one bag.
This initiative was done with the help and the approval of the Punjab administration and the police.
The special COVID19 drive will continue until April 8 (Seva Day).This initiative will help over 1000
poor families in Ludhiana itself.
Manpreet Singh Juneja, Founder and President of Bhavyadev said, “It’s a testing time for all of us, especially the daily bread earner.
While everything has come to a standstill, Bhavyadev aims to help the underprivileged and make sure that they stay healthy and fight the situation. We are working very closely with the administration and the District police to distribute essentials and will be closely monitoring the situation. I’m very thankful to the respective authorities, our volunteers and those who have donated whole heartedly to help in these times.”
All necessary precautions were taken to perform this Seva. Announcements were done in the areas before the visit to ensure people stay indoors during distribution for everyone’s safety.
Bhavyadev will continue to serve the society even during these hard times with all possible protective measures and caution along with practicing social distancing in tandem with the administration.
