Govt will bear entire expenses of coronavirus positive patients: Nitish Kumar

Coronavirus is showing its own in Bihar too. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has directed that panic should not be spread about it.

Emergency-like conditions across the country due to deadly Coronavirus, school, colleges have been closed in most states of the country. Apart from this, theaters to the gym, malls have been closed. Coronavirus is showing its own in Bihar too. Amid vigilance efforts to prevent coronavirus, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has directed that panic should not be spread about it.

While addressing Bihar assembly session Nitish Kumar further also declared that the state government will also provide ex-gratia of Rs 1 lakh to the kin of people who die due to coronavirus.┬а

Asking the people of the state to take preventive measures, Nitish Kumar said that people should avoid going to any kind of public gatherings and urged them to make use of face mask. He said, ''Mask is not only for the deceased but those who are healthy should also ensure that they are using a mask so that they don't get affected by the virus.''

Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar appealed to the people in the Assembly to be vigilant and directed the DGP and Chief Secretary to immediately remove Section 144 from all the districts.┬а Speaking in the assembly, he said that this is creating an atmosphere of unnecessary panic in the state. Nitish Kumar has said that the fear that is being spread about the corona virus is not good and it would be better not to panic coronavirus. Apart from this, CM Nitish, who came to participate in the proceedings of the assembly, objected to the distribution of masks in the house and he fiercely took the news of those who distributed masks.

Till now India has reported 119 positive cases and 3 deaths with Uttarakhand reporting its first case and one fresh case each in Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, the Union Health Ministry said in a statement.┬а
