China's warning to G-7 countries, says Small' groups don't rule the world

Now a handful of countries do not decide the fate of the world

Ground Report | New Delhi: A spokesman for the Chinese embassy in London said, "We have always believed that no country, whether it is big or small, strong or weak, poor or rich, all are equal and global affairs should be considered by all countries. It should be settled only after consultation." This statement of China has come at a time when G-7 countries are trying to show themselves united in front of China.

The G-7 countries include Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Britain, and America. Britain, says that US President Joe Biden emphasized that in the post-Corona epidemic world, there has been a situation of conflict between democratic countries and countries with dictatorial systems.

The rise of China as a superpower on the global stage after the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991 during the Cold War is seen as one of the biggest global developments of recent decades. China has increased its influence on the world stage in the last few decades.

It has made huge economic investments in many developing countries of the world under its Belt and Road Initiative. In the last 4 decades, China has gained immense military and economic power. How to respond to the concrete steps of Chinese President Xi Jinping, is being discussed in the China G-7 countries meeting.

The G-7 includes the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Canada, and Japan. The heads of state of these countries are holding a three-day conference on the Corbis Bay coast of England, Britain. Western countries want to show that they can present a strong option to reduce the influence of China.

The G-7 countries are working on planning for developing countries as an alternative to China's multi-billion-dollar Belt and Road Initiative.

At the same time, on Saturday, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau led the discussion about China. He appealed to all the leaders to take joint steps to stop the growing threat from China. Let us tell you that the G-7 countries are planning to offer developing countries to be part of an infrastructure scheme that can compete with China's multi-trillion-dollar Belt and Road Initiative. 

The conference, which began on Friday in Carbys Bay, South West England, will conclude on Sunday. The G-7 is a grouping of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States.

On Saturday, PM Narendra Modi also participated in this conference of G-7 countries through video conferencing. During this, the Prime Minister gave the slogan 'One Earth, One Health' which was supported by German Chancellor Angela Mackerel.

PM Modi called for global leadership and solidarity, holding democratic and transparent societies especially responsible for future prevention of epidemics like Covid-19. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also called for the G-7's support for the WTO proposal by India, South Africa for patent exemption on COVID-related technologies.
