Bus fell in Sainj valley, Over 16 killed including school children

A major accident took place in Sainj of Kullu district of Himachal on Monday. A bus full of passengers, which also had children, fell into the Sainj valley. 16 people have died in this accident. Some of them were children. Some of the injured have been evacuated. It is being told that 45 people were aboard the bus.

According to news agency ANI, the accident happened at 8 am in Sainj Valley in Kullu. The District Commissioner says that the death toll may increase. The bus was going from Kullu to Sainj. School children were traveling in this bus.

According to Kullu Deputy Commissioner Ashutosh Garg, the bus was going to Sainj. Around 8.30 am, the bus fell into a gorge near Jangla village. Teams have reached the spot for rescue. The injured are being rushed to a nearby hospital.
