In the incident of gang-raping and burning alive a 12-year-old girl in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, the police have taken into custody six, including the accused's mother. The incident took place in a village in Sahebganj in the district.

On Wednesday, SSP Jayant Kant and SDPO Rajesh Kumar Sharma went to the village to investigate the matter. Questioned father, sister and grandparents. After that, the SSP and SDPO reached Sahebganj police station and reviewed the case with the concern SHO.

SSP informed that investigation is being done. Some people have been detained for questioning. The accused will also be arrested soon. The SSP has assured the victim's family to recover the body of the girl in 24 hours.

According to reports, the accused have made a pgraphic video of the victim and began to force her to make it viral. The four accused along with the victim entered her house and gang-raped her and then burned the girl alive. When the girl was burnt, the younger sister of the deceased girl saw everyone. She later briefed her family about the entire incident.

According to the report, the incident took place on January 3. The accused gang-raped the victim in her room at 10 am leter she was burnt alive in the room. While hiding the dead body, the victim's elder sister saw the accused.

However reports said that villagers put pressure on them that the case should not be registered in the police station. Accused should be punished at the village level itself. People of both sides held several rounds of panchayat regarding this. But it did not work. The victim's father did not accept the condition of people from the other side.
