Ground Report | New Delhi: BCA or secondary pass; Cooch Behar MP Nisith Pramanik has been embroiled in controversy after taking oath in the Union Cabinet. The Trinamool leader of Cooch Behar questioned his educational qualification on social media. His question is whether Nisith Pramanik has done his graduation or is only a secondary pass.

As per their claim, “The MPs website shows the MP’s educational qualification as BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) but the highest educational qualification mentioned in the affidavit while standing for election is secondary. Leader of TMC Parthapratim Roy has also made a post on his Facebook page with this information.

Partha Pratim Roy, a former Trinamool MP from Kochbihar and district Trinamool president, posted two separate documents on his Facebook page on Wednesday.

Partha Pratim Roy wrote, 'I heard that the MP from Kochbihar is becoming a minister. Pretty good. But when I went to look for the Lok Sabha site, my eyes were wide open. The website shows the educational qualifications of the MP BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application). But the highest educational qualification written in the affidavit while standing for election is secondary.

He further wrote I did not understand the matter. Will anyone explain or will the MP himself reveal the matter. I put questions to the people of Kochbihar through social media. ' This is how he raised questions on social media. However, this document was not verified by Hindustan Times Bangla. Besides, the leadership of the ruling party has started raising various questions about the profession of MPs. However, no response was received from the BJP.

The 35-year-old Pramanik, who recently contested and won the Bengal Assembly elections but resigned to retain his Lok Sabha membership, had written Madhyamik examination or Madhyamik examination as his highest educational qualification in both the affidavits.
