Former IAS officer, Shah Faesal extended his support to #Indiatogether campaign. After Rihanna, climate activist Greta Thunberg, Jay Sean, Lilly Singh, posted tweets showing solidarity on farmers' protests in India.

Taking on to Twitter, Faesal wrote, "Yes. Ghar ki baat ghar ke andar hi achi" (literal meaning-India should resolve its issues internally).
Shah Faesal also called his interview given to BBC in past a 'mistake', "One would have to be far more careful with words when talking about India's internal matters to a global audience."
Faesal's U-turn in recent times
Faesal, once a critic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is now seen praising his work. He says that I get to know and learn a lot from the Prime Minister's 'Mann Ki Baat'. In a way, you get the opportunity to connect indirectly. Some effort, some passion, some passion to do something for the country, all of them inspire me, fill me with energy.
Originally a resident of Lolab Kupwara in North Kashmir, Shah Faisal on Sunday praised the 'Mann Ki Baat' program and wrote on Twitter that it is as if 130 crore people are gathering like a family on Sunday morning. Everyone is being communicated.
Everyone is being listened to. His feelings are being understood. I took the heart of this program that the dialogue brings togetherness, which makes the whole country look like a family.

Significantly, when the article-370 was removed from Jammu and Kashmir in the year 2019, Shah Faisal criticized it severely. He was then detained at Delhi Airport.
Shah Faesal resigned from the Indian Administrative Services in the year 2019 and formed the Jammu and Kashmir People's Movement political party. But he resigned from it last year.
Now there is talk of making Shah Faisal an advisor to the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh.
