Australia v India: India beat Australia by eight wickets in second test match

India defeated Australia by eight wickets in the second Test match. In the series of four Test matches, India and Australia have come 1-1. India has won this match under adverse circumstances. Many important players of the team are out of the match. Even Umesh Yadav had to be out after three overs.

India had to score only 70 runs to win the second Test match but two wickets fell soon. Mayank Agarwal, who came to the opening, was dismissed after scoring five runs off 15 balls. Cheteshwar Pujara (3) came after Agarwal but he could not play more than four balls.

Mayank Agarwal was caught by Mitchell Starc with his captain Tim Paine and Pujara was caught by Cameron Green off Pat Cummins. At first it seemed that India could win this match by 10 wickets. Shubman Gill, who came to the opening, stayed on the pitch and won India with captain Ajinkya Rahane.

In the second innings of the second Test match, all the players of Australia were dismissed for 200 runs in 103.1 overs. Australia has a lead of 69 runs and India has to score just 70 runs to win this Test match.

India is playing without Virat Kohli. Virat Kohli is going to be the father of the first child and he went on leave after the Adelaide Test. Umesh Yadav was also ruled out after 3.3 overs due to injury and Rahane somehow sustained the bowling attack. Fast bowlers Ishant Sharma and Mohammed Shami are already out due to injury. Rohit Sharma has not been able to join this series so far.

Jadeja not only scored 57 runs but also took important wickets like Wade and Penn. Bumrah also bowled bowled.

Australian spinner Nathan Lyon criticized his team's fielding. He said that his team's performance was disturbing throughout the day. Rahane missed two catches. Apart from this, catches of Pant and Shubham Gill have also been missed.
