Ground report | New Delhi: Aryan Khan's bail; The hearing in the Bombay High Court regarding the bail of actor Shahrukh Khan's son Aryan Khan in the Mumbai cruise drugs case has been postponed till Wednesday. In this case, former Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi is representing Aryan Khan, while advocates Satish Manshinde and Amit Desai are already advocating for the Aryan Khan case.

Aryan Khan was arrested on October 3 by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with an alleged rave party on a cruise. Despite two attempts, he could not get bail. On October 20, a special court in Mumbai had refused to release Aryan Khan and two other accused on bail.

While rejecting the bail plea, the court had held that no drugs were recovered from Aryan Khan but also held that since Aryan Khan was aware that his friend Arbaaz Merchant had banned substances and since he The two were together so it would be considered 'conscious possession'. Six grams of charas were recovered from Arbaaz Merchant.

Former Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi defended Aryan Khan in Bombay High Court. Lawyers Satish Manshinde and Amit Desai are already handling the Aryan Khan case. Mukul Rohatgi had also supported Aryan Khan in the past. He had said that there is no basis for keeping Aryan Khan in captivity. Aryan Khan is paying a heavy price for being a celebrity.

In this case, NCB arrested eight people including Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, and model Munmun Dhamicha from the cruise. So far 20 people have been arrested in this case.

  • BJP Involvement: Nawab Malik alleges that after the raid of October 2, NCB Sameer Wankhede released some people. He also claimed that one of the persons released by the NCB was a relative of BJP leader Mohit Kamboj.
  • Cruise Raid was Fake: Malik said that the Mumbai Police was also informed that 11 people have been detained from the cruise ship. Malik had alleged that the NCB raid on Cruise was “fake, planned and a conspiracy to defame the film industry and the Maharashtra government”.
  • Nawab Malik claims that the NCB tried to pass off 200 kg of herbal tobacco as “bhang” (ganja).
  • NCB Targeting with purpose: Nawab intensified his attack on the NCB, alleging that the anti-drug agency had implicated his son-in-law Sameer Khan for propaganda in the drug case. He further claimed that the whole matter was bogus and with malicious intent.
  • Fletcher Patel Connection: Nawab Malik highlighted the connection between Patel, a former Army officer, and Yasmin Wankhede, sister of NCB regional director Sameer Wankhede. In one picture, Fletcher Patel called Yasmin Wankhede “Lady Don”.
  • Extortion allegations: Nawab Malik accused Sameer Wankhede of ‘extortion’, claiming that the IRS officer was in Maldives at the same time many Bollywood celebrities were holidaying there. The NCP leader also shared pictures of Sameer and Yasmin Wankhede clicked in the Maldives.
