Aryan Khan released from jail, returns to 'Mannat' after 27 days

Ground Report | New Delhi: Aryan Khan released; Actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan has been released from Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail today after almost a month. He was arrested in a drug case from a cruise ship party.

There was a gathering of media outside the jail and policemen were also present for security. Aryan Khan was immediately seated in the car as soon as he left the jail and he left. On Thursday, 23-year-old Aryan Khan was granted bail by the Bombay High Court in the drug case after three days of the hearing, but he had to spend one more night in jail.

Bombay High Court grants bail to Aryan Khan

This happened due to the non-availability of bail documents on time. These documents were given to the jail administration at 5:30 am on Saturday, after which Aryan Khan was released.

NCB did not get the drug from Aryan Khan but has claimed in the court that his WhatsApp chat shows that he was involved in illegal drug smuggling. Arbaaz Merchant and model Munmun Dhamicha, who was arrested along with Aryan Khan in the drug case, have also got bail.

Aryan Khan came out of jail at around 11 am after spending 28 days. Soon after getting out of jail, he rammed into a waiting white Range Rover SUV and was taken to his home Mannat in suburban Bandra, 12 km away. A day before, the vow was decorated with lights. The photos show the upper floor of the house covered with twinkling fairy lights.

Aryan Khan was granted bail by the Bombay High Court on Thursday. Shah Rukh Khan's actor-friend Juhi Chawla stood as bail for the 23-year-old before a special court designated to hear cases related to the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS).

The High Court has imposed 14 bail conditions on Aryan Khan and co-accused - Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, who were granted bail stipulating their release on a personal bond of ₹ 1 lakh along with one or two sureties of an equal amount. His release came just a day before the High Court took a two-week break for Diwali.
