Home Minister Amit Shah, who arrived on a two-day tour of West Bengal, reached Medinipur on Saturday and met the relatives of Shaheed Khudiram Bose in Habibpur area and honored him by wearing a shawl.
He garlanded Khudiram Bose's statue and paid tribute to him. Talking to reporters on the occasion, the Union Home Minister asked TMC to desist from doing little politics without naming him.

Amit Shah said, “It is my privilege that I have got the opportunity to do tilak from the soil of the birthplace of Shahid Khudiram Bose. The contribution of Bengal and its sons in the freedom struggle cannot be forgotten. A new consciousness and energy is being experienced by coming here. But the martyrs of Bengal would never have imagined petty politics. The nation will always remember Bose's sacrifice. "
He said that today is also the martyrdom day of Ram Prasad Bismil, Ashfaq Ullah Khan and Thakur Roshan Singh.
Shah told the youth, "We have not got a chance to die for the country, but have got a chance to live." Let us build a strong, strong and secure India under the leadership of Narendra Modi. "
Earlier, Amit Shah reached Medinipur in a helicopter from Kolkata. He also visited the Siddheshwari temple seven hundred years old and worshiped there.
State BJP president Dilip Ghosh claims, "At least 10-12 MLAs will join the party. Shah and party chief J.P. Nadda will visit the state every month till the assembly elections. "

Amit Shah after reaching West Bengal went to Ramakrishna Mission Ashram in Medinipur. Today he also has a rally in Mednipur.
After this, he will visit the Siddheshwari Kali temple. He plans to have lunch at a farmer's house in Beljuri. Returning to Kolkata at night, Amit Shah will hold a meeting with party leaders.

The next day i.e. on Monday, he will visit Birbhum. After visiting Visva-Bharati University there, Shah will eat food at the home of a Bengali folk singer. A road show will also be organized there.
