Amid IT raids: Time will tell my side says Sonu Sood

Ground Report | New Delhi: Sonu Sood IT raids; After the Income Tax Department's 'Survey', actor Sonu Sood has issued a statement saying that 'You do not always have to tell the story of your side, Time will tell.' Sonu Sood has also posted this statement on Twitter and Instagram and a lion has written with it, "Easy journey takes place even in hard roads, every Hindustani's prayers seem to have an effect."

He wrote in the statement, “I have pledged myself that I will serve the people of India with all my heart and strength. Every rupee of my foundation waits to save precious lives and reach out to the needy. In addition, on several occasions, I have encouraged brands to spend their advertising money for humanitarian needs, which will continue in the future.”

The Income Tax Department, after investigating his house in Mumbai for three days, issued a statement on Saturday informing that the actor had evaded tax worth over Rs 20 crore. The Income Tax Department said in its statement that during the search at the locations linked to Sonu Sood and his associates, evidence related to tax evasion has been found.
