All flights to Britain from India are closed till 7 January

Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has said that the temporary ban on flights to and from the UK has been extended till January 7. Last week, India temporarily closed all flights coming from Britain.

The government had earlier told that from 25 November to 23 December, all travelers coming to India from Britain are being traced.

According to the Union Health Ministry, there have been a total of 20 cases of new strains infected in India.

Eight of these 20 cases have been registered by Delhi lab. Seven cases have been reported from Bengaluru's lab.

Last week, flights from India to Britain were temporarily closed.

The government says that people coming from Britain to India between November 25 and December 23 are being traced.

In the press conference of the Ministry of Health, Dr. VK Paul of NITI Aayog said, "The virus is easy to control in the beginning but once the infection spreads more, it will be difficult to control."

In the last 24 hours, 20,550 new cases have been reported in India, after which the total number of cases has exceeded 12 million.

At the same time, 286 people have died due to corona in the last 24 hours. After this, the number of deaths due to corona in India has increased to 1,48,439. In the country 26,572 have been cured due to corona infection.
