A video of the BJP leader has gone viral, in which he is seen abusing the media and calling them "chor (thief)". The video was taken when the minister was on his way to inaugurate a children's and maternity hospital in his constituency.

He said, 'Go and ask the SIT, this is your media person, it is this one who has implicated an innocent man, there is no shame, how many dirty people are there, what do you want to know… don't ask the SIT. ..'

Lakhimpur SIT report

The Special Investigation Team probing the violence in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur district has told the court that the incident was a “pre-planned conspiracy causing death”.

In this case, on October 3, Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni, and 12 other accused are accused of killing 4 farmers and a journalist by crushing them with vehicles in Lakhimpur Kheri. On Tuesday, 12 other accused including Ashish Mishra were produced in the court.

Union Minister Ajay Mishra Teni’s son Ashish Mishra is the prime accused in the case, as it was his SUV that allegedly crushed the farmers. He has been booked along with 12 others under IPC section 302 (murder) and several other sections and is presently lodged in Lakhimpur district jail. On Tuesday, Mr. Ajay Mishra reached the jail to meet his son.

SIT Chief Investigating Officer Vidyaram Diwakar in his letter said that as per the investigation and evidence collected so far, the criminal act was not committed out of “negligence” and “apathy”; Rather it was “deliberately done through a well-planned conspiracy” to kill people.

Since this news, opposition parties have taken a jibe at the BJP and its central leadership. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi tweeted and asked, ‘Due to court rebuke and Satyagraha, now the police are also saying that the son of the Minister of State for Home conspired and crushed the farmers.
