Ground Report | New Delhi: Afghan footballer; An Afghan national football team player was among the three who died Monday (August 16th) after falling from a US airliner flying from Kabul airport after the Taliban took control of the country.

Reuters news agency quoted Afghan news agency Ariana as saying that Zaki Anwari fell from a US Boeing C-17 plane and was killed, which was confirmed by the General Directorate of Sports.

After the Taliban took control of Kabul on Monday, several families were seen fleeing the country in a state of fear, with hundreds of passengers trying to board a standing plane trying to enter through the tunnel doors on the plane.

In the videos circulating on social media, it can be seen that some of them succeeded in their goal while some were seen hanging on their hands. A later video showed three people hanging from the plane's wings shortly after takeoff.

Earlier, US troops in charge of Kabul airport fired in the air to disperse the crowd, killing at least five people.

Taliban going door to door

A UN report has revealed that the Taliban has intensified the search for people who have worked with NATO forces and the Afghan government. It has been told that the extremists are searching every house and threatening the family members.

On the other hand, the Taliban leadership has been trying to assure the people of Afghanistan that there will be no revenge since the occupation of Afghanistan. But, given the brutality of the 1990s, there is fear among the people about the possibility of the Taliban changing.
