He said that the Delhi model is different and Gujarat will have a different model. Kejriwal said that the Aam Aadmi Party will do politics on the issues of the people of Gujarat.

Ground Report | New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced at a press conference in Ahmedabad that the Aam Aadmi Party will contest next year's assembly election on all seats in Gujarat. Party convener Kejriwal said during the press conference that 'people here (Gujarat) think that when electricity can be free in Delhi, why can't it be here. He said, “Similarly in 70 years the condition of the hospitals here has not improved. 

Kejriwal said that Congress and BJP are running their own shops in Gujarat. Whenever BJP needed it, Congress has supplied goods to it. There is a 27-year-old friendship between the two sides, which is being played out. And the public is getting crushed in its affair. Kejriwal further said that today Congress is in BJP's pocket. Farmers are committing suicide in Gujarat. Government schools are in bad shape. The business class is scared. Both parties are responsible for this. Gujarat's model is in bad shape today and we will improve it.

The CM said that Gujaratis have played an important role in the independence of the country. He said that not only the Gujarati leaders but also the Gujarati people have an important contribution in getting freedom for the country. After the country became independent, Sardar united the country in the true sense by uniting more than 500 states. India today would not have been possible without Sardar's contribution.

Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal has promised a new model of Gujarat. He said that the Delhi model is different and Gujarat will have a different model. Kejriwal said that the Aam Aadmi Party will do politics on the issues of the people of Gujarat. 

In February, the AAP chief had visited Surat after his party emerged as strong opposition to the BJP in the municipal elections. The party won 27 out of 120 seats in the Surat Municipal Corporation elections. The party is hoping to provide an alternative to the state, which has been dominated by the BJP for decades.

The move comes at a time when the Congress party has become insignificant in the face of the Modi-Shah-led BJP and has faced several defeats and losses in the local body elections. Voting in the 182-seat Gujarat Assembly is to be held in December 2022.
