16 UP Yatris Travel to Amarnath Cave Sanctuary in Cycles

Sixteen Yatris from Uttar Pradesh have performed darshan at the holy cave of Amarnath Yatra after travelling to the cave shrine on bicycles. The group of pilgrims also plans to visit the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra, Jammu and the entire journey will be completed in 28 days.

“We all started our journey on July 5 and are expected to return home in around 25-28 days,” they told the Kashmir News Observer (KNO) news agency. Anokhi Lal from Manpuri UP who is part of the group said that they have already paid homage at the holy cave in the Pahalgam area and are now heading to pay homage at Mata Vaishno Devi in ​​Katra.

He said that people here are very cooperative and the environment is also peaceful, and Kashmir is the most beautiful place in the world.

“We are 16 people from the same area in Uttar Pradesh and in 28 days, we will be back after offering obeisances at Amarnath cave and Mata Vaishno Devi’s Katra temple,” he said.

Vinod Kumar, another pilgrim, said that on July 5 they started their journey and so far it was a very beautiful travel experience with the full support and cooperation of the administration and the public.

“We feel very happy here in Kashmir as it is surrounded by beautiful mountains and we have not faced any kind of problem here,” he said.

“This is my third visit to the holy cave in the cycle as I have already paid homage to the holy cave in 2009 and 2011 in the cycle,” said Kumar. “Our message to all people will be to visit Kashmir without any choice and there is no problem at all,” he said. Other Yatris also said that they did not face any problems during this Yatra and request others to visit here as people here are very hospitable, loving and cooperative.
