Ground Report | New Delhi: Fan trolls Virat Kohli; Virat Kohli has always been known for his extreme aggressiveness on the pitch. A fan who tried to troll Virat Kohli over a decade ago only to receive a warning from the Indian skipper reminded the RCB captain again that '10 years' have passed and his Twitter account is still active unlike Kohli had.
All cricket lovers remember the infamous incident during the 2011/12 tour of Australia when Kohli ended up flashing the middle finger to the crowd out of frustration and anger. During the same time, something similar happened on Twitter as well when India's current patron lost his cool and fired a warning at a fan.
Kohli had warned the fan that his Twitter account has been 'reported and will be deactivated soon. It is not known what the troll actually said to the Indian patron. But from Kohli's tweet, it's apparent that perhaps the fan could have used "obscene language." Kohli noticed the post and reported it. “His account of his has been reported and will be deactivated soon. don't tweet if you want to use obscene language," Kohli had tweeted.
The cricketer had told him that his account has been reported and will be deactivated soon. Kohli had also advised him not to tweet to abuse others. “@ Ishaan3 his account has been reported and will be deactivated soon. don't tweet if you want to use obscene language,” he had tweeted.
Fan Strikes Back After Five Years!
The fan's Twitter account, however, is not yet deactivated. In April 2016, he reminded the cricketer that it has been five years since he warned him and his account is still safe.
on August 20, 2020, the fan reminded Virat Kohli that it has been ten years since his "your account will be deactivated soon" warning. The fan wrote: “10 saal hogye kholi bhai…”
