Summary

The story starts in the 1962 era when some scientists are debating on atomic energy. This is the year of the war between India and China. Homi Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai meet in the room where a heated debate is going on over the atomic bomb. The character of Homi Bhabha is played by Jim Sarbh, while Ishwak Singh is in the role of Vikram Sarabhai. While Bhabha advocates making India’s first atomic bomb, Sarabhai favors a diplomatic approach to this issue. This hot atmosphere gives a great start to the series.

There is a difference of opinion between Sarabhai and Bhabha, but both want to see the progress of India. This one goal brings the two closer. The two begin their journey together, achieving their goal by fighting the system and the British bureaucracy.

The chemistry and bromance between Bhabha and Sarabhai give feel-good moments to the series. Bhabha’s cynical and Sarabhai’s Gandhian thoughts are well represented in the series. The love life of both will also be seen in this series. The series is full of family life and love romance of both. You will be filled with excitement as you relive the moments of science innovation and India’s first rocket launch in the series.

In the series, how both of them fought politics, society, and the system for their experiments. Rocket Boys also uses real footage of the experiments and leaders of the time to bring it to life. There is also a character of APJ Abdul Kalam who says that they will fly rockets and not planes. This role leaves a lot of impression on the audience.

Jim Sarbh has settled into the role of Homi Bhabha. His stellar performance is worth watching, while Ishwak also appears quite passionate in the role of Sarabhai.

Although director Abhay Pannu has pulled it a lot to give it the shape of the series. You will feel that some of the scenes are meaningless. But this series based on the lives of two brilliant scientists of the country is full of knowledge. Which can be seen once.
